WHO IS LOOOOP?

The performers François Erb, Hanna Lange and Tina Lange make up LOOOOP. All three of them have been performing with fire and juggling since as long ago 2003 and met one another in 2007 through their work in the fire performance scene.

What brought them together is a common passion for exploring the juggling technique of partner poi, which they have played a decisive role in developing and that has brought them international acclaim.

LOOOOP spent a long time practicing and perfecting their poi techniques. But there was no ignoring the call of the stage, so in 2008, François, Hanna and Tina decided to team up as a performance group. Since then, they have been performing and teaching in Berlin, Germany and all over the world.

WHY FOUR O?

The four O stand for the four founding members Hanna Lange, Tina Lange, François Erb and Dorothée Deudon. Since Dorothée left the group to raise her family, the fourth O is also occasionally played by Josefine Friederike Seufzer or the swedish artist Thomas Johansson.

LOOOOP also collaborates with other fire groups. They are part of the troupe of performers Flambal Olek which they set up together with other fire artists from Bremen and Hamburg and are co-organisers of the fire performance project Feuerkunst Berlin.

The fourth O is therefore a place for members past, present and future as well as a symbolic representative for friends and colleagues of LOOOOP.
